Charming Vintage Garden

Hi everyone, Becky here today with my card using the new Vintage Garden papers from Pion Design.

I've used both sides of Blue Ornament, and the reverse side of 'Tags'. I love the colour combo blue and brown, and I love these papers. The edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and then machine sewn.

I've coloured Charmings, from Saturated Canary, in with distress markers and as always I've added sparkle with glamour dust.

I've made a bow with Chocolate Crispy Ribbon and used an Antique Jeweled Pearl Pendant, but I removed the loop.

Close up of the flowers.

Hugs,

Becky xx

So let's take a look at what Tina has created...

Tina made this beautiful paperbag card...and check out the gorgeous tag:

Here's a close up of the upper part of the card:
Note the mini paperbag in kraft on the left, holding the almanac tag.
A bit of frantage around the image, and also the butterfly charm and the hinge clip were embossed with "Shabby Pink".
Speaking of frantage, I had some more delivered yesterday, so the popular Shabby White is now back in stock again! :-)

Another close up of the beautiful images and the flower display:

Thanks for stopping by today.
Please come back tomorrow to see Becky's beautiful card.

Care For Your Seeds

~THE TOP PICKS FROM OUR APRIL CHALLENGE WERE ANNOUNCED EARLIER TODAY, PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO THE SEE THEM~

Morning Crafters,

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.  The sun was shining here so we went for a two hour walk through the woods yesterday.  Loads of bluebells were out, just beautiful.

The theme for the LLC Girls this week to follow is one we are all excited about, the new Pion Vintage Garden papers, the only difficulty I had was choosing which ones to use first.  Well I am always drawn to blue so I have chosen to use the  Garden 12 x 12 and Flax 6 x 6.

I have chosen this little Tilda that I won in a recent competition as she is ideal for the vintage garden collection sewing her seeds.  She has been colourerd with distress markers.  All edges have been distressed with walnut stain and gesso.  The wooden butterfly has been frantaged with the shabby blue and a Ranger Pen Nib added to the centre.

Here's a close up, and I have added some of my favourite snow-tex around the edges and some 2mm string pearls.

I have used the new metal roses and have placed them in the centre of each of the butterflies. The gorgeous lace is Lace Alencon.
I have added a magnolia doohickey wrapped so lovely tag and added some of that fabulous shabby blue seam binding, clay heart with a little frantage on it and one of the prima typo bulbs saying "Care".

I cut the little seed packet out and edged with walnut ink distress ink.  All links are below the post.

Be sure to check back each day as the DT show off the new Pion Vintage Garden Papers.

AND...
For your chance of winning a set of the 12x12 Collection (12 Sheets), please pop over to the LLC Facebook Page and Like and Share the post with the image of the 12x12 collection. A winner will be drawn on Sunday.

Student Tilda

Hello there LLC lovers and very welcome!
Louise here with you today to showcase my inspirational picture creation.
Before I tell you more about my make this is the picture we have been taking turns to inspire from:

The collage is put together by yours truly and the pictures are all from my home.

As you can see I have included all colors except the teal one. A little while ago I received an amazing e-mail from a woman here in Sweden, asking me if I would consider making a gift set for her to give her daughter Nina when she graduates early june. Well, of course I would and this card is make 1. Make 2 will be a gift bag, to be continued ;)
Besides the colors I was also inspired by the roses. As you can see little Student Tilda carries them in one hand too ;)

For the first time I've tried using (how did that happen?? Probably because Im sooooo into Sandra´s seam binding ;)) the organza ribbon and my gosh...I'm sold! I LOVE IT!!
I know I say that about something from the Live and Love Crafts Store every Sunday but man...if you haven't shopped there yet and you try it once, you're going to be so hocked! ;) lol!
Dangling from that very same ribbon in a piece of jute string is one of the pieces from Prima's Vintage Trinket pack...I've been reluctant to use them because they are just tooo pretty and I want to keep them forever ;)
All products used can be found via Inlinkz at the bottom of this post.

Before I head off let me encourage you to take a look at the amazing creations by my fellow teamies posted throughout the week. I love a good inspirational picture because the result are always so different from each other and there are as many interpretations as there are designers.

Thank you for looking today!
Eeeeekkk, I hope the receiver will like this...
Hugs,
