Porcelain Doll Face

Morning All;
it's Sandy here as usual on a Tuesday, to post Tina's card for this week's theme.
This week I have asked the DT to use striped or chequered papers.
Not particularly difficult; as both Maja and Pion do plenty of these. :-)

Tina has used papers from Maja Design's Vintage Autumn Basics Collection;
Now this is some serious vintage porcelain skin!!!
Around the image Tina has stamped with the swirl stamps from Stempelglede's Vintage Garden Set.

The swirl stamp can be better seen here. There's also a tag tucked into a mini bag behind the image.
Tina also fussy cut one of the roses from the paper and used it as a decoration.

From the rose placed on top of the seambinding, there's a cute Idea-ology bauble hanging.

The flower display is made up of foam flower buds, 15mm and 10mm Wild Orchid Crafts roses and some glass berries which have been toned down with gesso (no longer in stock).

In the right top corner, Tina has placed an Idea-ology pen nib and a Maya Road love heart clip.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Hugs from Tina & Sandy

Challenge #27 Things with Wings

Hi Crafters,
As they say...time goes fast when you're having fun!
Last month literally flew by as I was so busy working on the upgrade/redesign of the LLC store.
In case you haven't found the time to visit yet, here's a little sneak peek of what it looks like:

We also have a new logo:

For some time to come, you'll still see the old logo in use, whilst work is in progress to re-design blog buttons etc., but hey Rome wasn't built in one day. :-)

Now let's get on with the challenge stuff!
Thanks everyone who joined in with our August challenge "stitching".
The randomly drawn winner is...
No 43 is Tanja, who submitted this gorgeous card:

Congratulations Tanja; your prize is £25 to spend at the LLC store.
Please get in touch with me, Sandy, to claim your prize.

This month's theme is "THINGS WITH WINGS".

Joining us as a Guest Designer for this challenge is the talented Marie, better known as Primia, from Sweden:

As you can see it's an open theme that can be interpreted in many different ways and we hope to see a great mix of Summer/Spring and Winter cards. Please bear in mind though that if you want to be in the running of the prize and Top Picks, to only submit one entry. Have fun everyone!

♥ In the Snow ♥

Hello and a happy Sunday!
Diana here to show you the last inspiration with the beautiful new design papers of Pion Design's Days of Winter Collection. Of course I made my card with my favorite color pink! ;0) So here is my very first winter card this year.

♥ ♥ ♥

All over the card and the embellishments I added some Snow-Tex to make it look like snow all over.

♥ ♥ ♥

My all time favorite seam binding and a gorgeous snowflake charm

♥ ♥ ♥
And here a little forest with the Magnolia DooHickey Snowy Forest and another ski charm, which fits perfectly to the little cute "In the snow ski Tilda". And also some Snow-Tex.

♥ ♥ ♥

On the image I added some "special effects" *lol*. I used the Liquid Appliqué Pen on Tilda's hat. And the snow I made with Snow-Tex and Glamour Dust. Hope you can see the sparkle in the pics.

♥ ♥ ♥

Wish you all a nice day!

Big Hugs
Diana (DeeDee)
